Description
Rules on when you could leave your house, how far you could travel, how long you could be outside for... The rules that controlled our lives through the pandemic are wild to think back on - as are the fines that were dolled out if you broke them.
Throughout the pandemic, over 60,000 fines were handed out to Sydneysiders. And though over half of the fines were withdrawn last November for having a lack of detail, now the Redfern Legal Centre are pushing to have the other half cancelled as well.
So on what grounds are the fines being challenged... And what happens if you've already paid the fine?
